Dr. Yadolah Zarezadeh, Director of International Affairs of Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences, reported that the results of Round University Ranking 2024 is revealed and Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences is ranked 466th globally. The results of 2024 RUR shows that Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences global position has improved 79 ranks compared to that of 2023. It is important to mention that the University is among the top universities and ranked 204th globally and 8th for Education.

Dr. Zarezadeh stated that More than 1100 universities from 89 countries were measured according to 20 performance indicators in four key areas of university activities: teaching (40%), research (40%), international diversity (10%), and financial sustainability (10%). There are 32 Iranian universities in the recent ranking list.

Director of International Affairs remarked that Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences ranked fourth among the Iranian medical sciences universities. Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran University, and Islamic Azad University are ranked as the top three Iranian universities. Harvard University, Stanford University, and California Institute of Technology are the top three universities in the world university ranking 2024.

Dr. Zarezadeh congratulated on this achievement and stated that all members of the University have made collective efforts to attain remarkable global recognition.
